2011

Energy Star:
Leadership in Housing Award

Recognized EarthCraft Virginia’s commitment to providing the nation’s homebuyers with energy efficient new homes that have earned the government’s ENERGY STAR label.

2010

Energy Star:
Excellence Award for Affordable Housing

EarthCraft Virginia was one of the regional organizations to be recognized for the successful implementation of the Energy Star program in affordable housing.

 

November 18, 2010 – Governor’s Housing Conference

Governor’s Housing conference winners that were EarthCraft Buildings.

Best Housing Development:  Franklin Heights – Harrisonburg RHA
Best Affordable Housing Energy Conservation Effort:  Beach Park West – Virginia Beach CDC

 

2009

James River Green Building Council (JRGBC): 
JRGBC leadership awards for Non-profit category

Recognized EarthCraft Virginia having demonstrated strong and outstanding leadership and action in the cause of green building as a vital part of the local, regional, and state community.

Governor’s Environmental Excellence Award:
“Environmental Program,” Silver Medal

This award recognized EarthCraft Virginia for its environmental conservation efforts and was presented at the Virginia Energy Conference held at VMI. This award was given to us for the whole EarthCraft Program.  Judging criteria made on the environment, education, and community engagement.
